These are starting fees for a straightforward case. After the examination you get the exact figure on paper, and it doesn’t change halfway through.

An examination of every tooth and your gums, X-rays only if they will change a decision, then a scale and polish. You leave with a written note of what we found, even if it just says “come back in six months”.

It takes about forty minutes, in three parts.
Ten minutes sitting up, not lying back. Tell us what’s bothering you and what you’ve had done before. Bring old X-rays or reports if you have them.
A small intraoral camera puts each tooth on the screen in front of you. We take X-rays only where they would change the decision.
The options, the number of visits and the fees, on one page. Think it over at home. We don’t start treatment on the same day unless you’re in pain.
The first consultation is ₹800. If you go ahead with treatment, it comes off the bill.
Aster is owned and run by its two dentists. Patients are shared between them by treatment, so you see the same dentist at every visit.

Aligners, braces, whitening and cosmetic work
Meera spent six years at an orthodontic practice in Bandra before opening Aster in 2016. She plans every aligner case herself, tooth by tooth, and will tell you plainly when trays can’t give the result you’re hoping for.

Implants, root canals, crowns and bridges
Arjun has placed implants for twelve years and does most root canals under a microscope. He usually explains a treatment with a pen and a quick sketch, which you can take home.
Most treatment is done under local anaesthetic, with a numbing gel first so the injection itself is barely felt. If you need a pause, raise your left hand and we stop.
After a root canal or an implant, expect two or three days of soreness that ordinary painkillers handle. We call you the next evening to check.
UPI, cards or cash, paid visit by visit rather than all at once. For treatment above ₹25,000 there is no-cost EMI over 3, 6 or 9 months on most credit cards, and a 6-month plan through a finance partner if you only have a debit card.
Most Indian health policies cover dental work only after an accident or during a hospital stay, so check yours first. We’re not a cashless provider, but we give you itemised bills, X-rays and a filled-in dentist’s section for any claim.
Call the clinic. We keep two slots open every day for swelling, a broken tooth or pain that won’t settle. Outside clinic hours, and on Sundays, the call goes to the dentist on duty until 10 pm.
If a tooth has been knocked out, hold it by the crown, keep it in a little milk and come straight in.
